Me, while looking directly at the phrase “the easiest way to talk about Gen Con is to talk day by day by day, but I’m honestly not convinced that’s a good look for the outlet” from my previous year’s recap: I’m going to talk about Gen Con day by day by day.
It’s fun to see how your perspective evolves. Anyways, I’m writing this from my “home office” (my living room) with a bag of games and a box of tissues next to me, since I took more than some dice home from Gen Con. Really jazzed about that one. This is going to be a bit of a ramble, a bit of a discussion about games and publishers and the relationship between all that and press, and a bit of me complaining that I’m still sick even though Gen Con was a week ago. To that end, I’m going to break it up into several posts and organize them all inside of this one. It’ll be gradually updating as I add more content over the next few weeks; no sense in rushing it all at once, right?
