Getting Started

Well. I said I was going to do it and here I am, doing it.

I’m just gonna use this as a space for me to talk about board games I’ve been playing or that you should try. If you’re looking to try something new and want to hear about it, I’m always looking for suggestions to write about. Feel free to contact me if you think I should write about any game (even more so if it’s your game!).

My current plan is to start with the ever-popular Settlers of Catan and then move into other games, probably on a biweekly (meaning every other week) to monthly scale. Should keep me active and make sure I don’t run out of games. Scoring’s out of 10 and based on BGG’s ratings, meaning that just because I give a game a low score doesn’t mean it’s a bad game; I’m just less likely to play it. I’m also planning going to use .5 and .25 values to really irritate people with a love of integers.
